I wanted to express how fantastic the Beehive Homes of Henderson is if you’re looking for a memory or assisted care home for your loved one. I used the word “home’ vs. facility because it’s absolutely more of a home than a cold facility. We placed my mother into the Beehive in October 2024 and from day one to her final day, the entire staff was remarkable with mom. Not once did we ever find that mom was mistreated or ignored. My Mom was one of the first residents at Beehive when they opened. I loved the fact it was one level and not a huge multi story residence. Loved the feeling of "home:" when you walked through the front door. The staff is fantastic...the meals are delish and they keep everyone busy with daily activites. Everything you need for your loved one is provided including addition healthcare or services as needed. Cynthia was with me when my Mom passed and was very kind and supportive. I toured BeeHive Homes of Henderson. We thought we were going to go with Beehive Homes, but then when they wouldn't call us back, we went and looked at other communities, so there's something wrong with their sales team. The facility is great. It's wonderful, but they don't have a courtyard, a garden, or anything like that, so there is no connection to nature for the people. I've toured BeeHive Homes of Henderson. They were expensive but not deluxe. They didn't have space. They have a dining area and they had things for people but they're paying more for the help they offer people. I went to BeeHive Homes of Henderson, it was very nice. Cynthia was wonderful, she was the director there and she took us through the assisted living area, and then walked us over the memory care unit. It's much smaller than where my brother is now, and there are some huge advantages to that. I think all of the rooms are private, so it's just for one individual, which is great. This facility was the perfect home for my Father as he needed more care. They were friendly, accommodating & genuinely cared about my Dad & the other residents. I know this not only from my observations when visiting, but in my conversations with the staff. They found out stuff about my Dad that they only would have learned about by spending time with him. They went over & above to make all of us feel at home & comfortable with having my Dad stay there.
