Benedictine Living Community At The Shrine

Lovely place, greeted by several residents during our tour. All seemed very content. Very nice offering.

I was impressed with the community nestled in the countryside property of the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snow. As a longtime resident in this area I was surprised to discover the assisted living community hidden on the grounds. It is quite beautiful, in the natural surroundings, The tour was very informative and the staff friendly in every area. Most impressive for me is the longevity of the staff's employment which tells me that they are happy and enjoy their job of caring for our aging community.

Our experience

Everyone is so friendly. The experience for our Dad has been wonderful. It took a little while for his motorized chair to be delivered and everyone was so helpful with getting his package to him. On one occasion he had a Dr. Appointment and the chair had still not been delivered, the staff was so gracious and got him to the door of the Dr's office. We can say enough good things about this place he calls home.

Acceptable, but I’m not ready to make a move yet.

They cater to your needs; they provide a liaison resident that acts as an ambassador to you to ensure any questions or needs your loved one has (or doesn't have) are simplified and efficient.

Our families experience

There was a welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walked in the door. The housing director [name removed] was such a help as we filled out all the paperwork for Carol to transfer to the Benedictine Living Community. The marketing director who met us and gave us a tour was very helpful also. The people are friendly, there are lots of activities. The building is kept in good repair. I loved the fact that physical and occupational therapy is right there on site, so there's no reason for the residence to go out for those…
