CriticalThere are some positive aspects to the community, but overall, we have been disappointed with the experience. Our biggest concerns have been the quality and consistency of the meals and the limited activities and social opportunities. The kitchen staffing seems inconsistent at times, and there have been occasions when staff members have had to step in to prepare something for residents. We find ourselves bringing meals several days a week because we would like to make sure our loved one is getting nutritious and a…

CriticalWhen we were deciding where to have my Dad live they seemed nice but it was a Friday and they seemed to put pressure on us to make a decision The facility was nice I paid the pro rated first month's payment My Dad was still in rehab facility They never sent someone to evaluate him and he never set foot in the place but they refused to refund the money we paid them I don't have a very good evaluation of the place

PositiveWe have been very happy with Bennet's place. They have accommodated all the needs of my parents. There were some mix-ups with the Pharmacy at the beginning, but that was taken care of immediately. They have been attentive to my parent's care, especially my mother who has Alzheimer's. Sometimes housekeeping can be a little slow, but if you bring it to their attention, you get an immediate resolution. The food was superb at first, but has fallen to OK in the last couple of weeks. Not sure why. All staff treat you ver…

CriticalThe food is overall fair. The activities are fair. For assisted living there are quite a few who should be in a nursing care facility. We have considered making a move. We have spoken to [name removed] about some things. We don't wish to have any backlash for our Mother but you may share. We are dissatisfied with a few of the aspects of the facility. I don't think it lives up to what we were told when we chose this place.
★★★★★
CriticalWe liked the place and put down money but found out they would not do Medicaid so we asked for our money back and they said no. We feel like you always have a Grace period. So not happy with that part. We are getting a place at [removed]. Everyone there was very helpful and they are helping us with the process of getting Medicaid.

PositiveI am well satisfied with Bennett Place and I intend to stay. I particularly enjoy the staff the are very attentive. I am happy to be able to talk to staff and management. Keep up the good work, see you next year!
