Love that you stay in your apartment even if you need to start getting memory care. No separate wing/ floor for memory care. Small enough facility that the administrators know every resident very well and are available daily

I am very happy with the care my Husband is receiving. What we like the most about the community is the staff, the care and the cleanliness. Yes, we would recommend Bickford of Rockford to other families based on the experience so far.

Do Not Recommend

The staff turn over is horrible and the caregivers lie about what they said they do and didn't do. We have cameras to check on what is and isn't going on. I won't have them there without cameras. If family needs a lot of support as ours does, they won't be getting it.

Our family's experience

We are impressed with the caring attitude of the supervisors. The staff tries hard to meet moms needs. The facilities are nice and have a homey feeling. Would like a few more activities involving talks or music.

I visited this facility

I toured Bickford of Rockford, and it has no outdoors. They've just got a walking path. It's clean. Everybody was nice. They didn't look like assisted living. They looked like a regular apartment. They appeared efficient, and nobody seemed to be neglected or in need of anything.
