PositiveThe owner of this community has been very helpful and accommodating. I like that they make the family feel welcome and encourage family to visit. They have a fifties style malt shop, a movie theater and a cooking area outside for gatherings. Mom has become more social and has made new friends. She likes to play bingo and go on some of the outings. They have been very accommodating and helped make the transition easier.

PositiveMy mom is in memory care at the Bluebird Retirement Community. The facilities are really clean and they have individual rooms, which was really nice, so they don't have to share. They're very spacious with really nice bathrooms in each room. They've put a lot of thought in designing things that work really well for the different people. There's quite a big ratio of workers per resident and it's really pleasant. They've gone through a lot of effort to put a movie theater in the facility…

PositiveThis is a nice community. The staff is caring and attentive. The community is always clean and then go out of there way. They have a great variety and if you do not like what is being served you can order anything else and she likes being able to order. They do have activities for the residents. We would highly recommend this community for great care and value for loved one.

PositiveBluebird Retirement Community had a really nice entranceway, which made you feel like you're at home, a fireplace and furniture out front, and a baby grand piano where anybody could come in and play. They had a café that looked like it's back in the 50's, and there's free ice cream all day. They also served coffee. They had a movie theater, a game room, a room to watch TV and do crafts, and a nice dining room with a chef on staff. It was just very open and very welcoming. It was impressive.

PositiveMy Mother in Law is a resident of this facility. Although her condition is very difficult, the staff couldn't be More understanding and caring. They always take the time to comfort her during difficult moments. I appreciate all the hard working staff as I too know what it's like to be a staff member of a nursing facility. CriticalMy friend is in Bluebird Retirement, and the whole place looked to me like a nursing-home. It doesn’t look like a retirement home at all. The staff is OK, but she spends a lot of time in her room lying on her bed. She doesn’t get out, and do many activities. They just kind of let her lay there. So it’s no better than a nursing home.
