PositiveI was very impressed with the staff and facilities at Brandywine. Everyone was friendly and seemed to be happy with their duties and interactions with the residents. I think I would be happy with my wife, [name removed] under their care. However, it is very expensive and I am not sure I could afford it.

Room size is very good. Staff is excellent. The facility is top notch. Mom does not like the food. And activities seem ok but mom isnt a big joiner so not as involved in activities.

My mother has been here for over a ½ year and loves it! I could go on-and-on about how wonderful this place is. The Activities Dept. is spectacular! And when you live in a place like this, you need an incredible variety to pick from. My mom has been a resident at Brandywine for two months. Her participation in the variety of activities offered daily has created a much more social environment for mom with people in her age group. This has made a very big positive impact on mom. We haven't seen her this happy and healthy in quite a while. Mom says everyone is "wonderful and so nice" to her. My 89 year old mother moved in during summer of 2014, having come from living independently. I was concerned about how she would adapt, but I was pleasantly surprised when after the first night she said she loved it, and has never looked back. Everyone is warm, friendly, welcoming, beginning with Leslie, Mae, Nancy and Olga.
