PositiveMom is thriving and happy and my brother and I have peace of mind.
My mother has dementia, but since being at Brandywine she is more active. She benefits from the daily routine. She gets help getting up and ready for the day. Always out of her room when I visit. She participates in activity activities, a lot. She loves music and the animal visits. She is extremely hard of hearing but staff seems to meet her needs. Room is clean and maintained. PositiveI was very impressed with the staff and facilities at Brandywine. Everyone was friendly and seemed to be happy with their duties and interactions with the residents. Room size is very good. Staff is excellent. The facility is top notch. Mom does not like the food. And activities seem ok but mom isnt a big joiner so not as involved in activities.

Just this past week, on two occasions in the late afternoon, my loved one who is a resident, and I encountered a rude and unresponsive aide. The staff complains about the residents and any efforts we make to ask for better care. For what we pay, this is unaccepatable. I know they are challenged to maintain full staffing, but this type of care is not what is needed. It appears the aides run the facility...
