PositiveBrentmoor Retirement Community
Apartments are good size. Upper level turnover is unfortunate. What really made the decision is that this community is individualized. That cookie cutter like so many of the newer senior community places. We were a little discouraged when there was talk of combining with some other community. I'm not sure which but we wanted to keep ourselves as individuals. So it doesn't even seem like a senior community. It's just a community.

The cleaning crew is rather slap-dash, very light cleaning. The food can be pretty sketchy, good sometimes and not very good otherwise. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If anything, the apartment size was the selling point for my mother. As a one bedroom apartment, it's twice the size of some other places I saw.

The person that helped us at Brentmoore was [name removed]. She showed us around and was so great to my mom. She was one of the main reasons my mom selected Brentmoore. She made my mom feel so welcome. The day we moved in we found out that [name removed] was no longer there with zero explanation and the new person could not answer any of our move in questions. The new person is kind and wonderful but my mom was so upset that [name removed] was gone and it has been an on going issue for her. She felt like [name remo…

CriticalThe person giving the tour was very informative and professional. The size of the units was generous compared to other places I looked at it this just wasn’t a good fit because there was no good places to walk or sit outdoors. The halls felt dark.

The rooms were moderately priced and spacious. Ms Brown was very professional and answered all our questions. The tour was comprehensive and we were able to see all the amenities and rooms. The packet of information we received was most helpful and detailed the a la carte care that was available. We did not eat there, but the menu was robust and provided for an alternate entre for every meal.
