I toured Bridges by EPOCH at Nashua. It was impeccable. Everything anybody would like to have. The price was correct. The food was great because they sat me down and gave me a sandwich. It's a beautiful place. The only reason that I pulled away from it is the fact that I would like to be close to my wife. In my time, I would like to go to the same place, but they don't have that. They only have memory care.

Bridges at Nashua was by far the most deluxe facility I found. However, it was also the most expensive. If money were not a consideration, we probably would have gone there. Like the other places we toured, I found the staff to be very helpful, and they seemed to truly care about their residents.

I thought it was a very good tour. The place was brand new. But I didn’t see any residents that were quite a bit younger like my loved one. And it was also the most expensive place we saw.

Don't fall for the Tour.

Very profit-oriented, it shows. Staff too busy, cannot adequately monitor or care for residents. Most staff do their best, but must take care of specific chores per shift. I blame corporation, not staff. It's their MO. Employees are required to do laundry for all residents-no laundry service, so employees always rushed, laundry is damp or still soiled, or not even done. Laundry room has 1 commercial washer/dryer, but not large enough to keep up with laundry. Lack of communication. Staff does not communicate enoug…

I found Bridges by EPOCH at Nashua for my dad. It's designed specifically for dementia patients. So the whole visual look of the place, they make it kind of like an octopus. So you have your center space where it's like an adjoining space. There was a fireplace there. The facility itself is designed with dementia and Alzheimer's patients specifically, and I can see why.
