Brookdale Boise Parkcenter Independent Living

Our experience

We are extremely happy and satisfied with Brookdale and glad we chose this facility. The med tech staff is amazing. They are patient with our ornery father as he adjusted to his new home He is now getting/taking his medicine on time as prescribed and his health and activity improvement show ls it Amazing how much his physical and mental health have improved in his first 6 weeks in the Brookdale community Plenty of activities all the time.

Things to know

If you are fairly independent there is no problem, but for residents who need personal care (meds, hygiene help) they are not responsive.

Clean on inside some areas need cleaned outside or repainted. Staff was friendly. Had a Lunch sample it was good. .The apartments. Layout was not great but similar to other places. Wasted space due to how the bathroom and large sliding door.

What we like the most about the community is honesty in initial pricing and office help locally not good. The corporate regional manager, I dealt with was great!!

I visited this facility

The main building of Brookdale Boise Parkcenter was very nice. I looked at a cottage, which is the only thing I looked at as far as the facility for me to be in. However, it was fairly old, and it was quite a long way away from the main building. The staff was wonderful. The facility is a little bit older, but they've kept it up. The cottage that I looked at is going to be upgraded with new carpet and paint and everything.

I toured Brookdale Boise Parkcenter Independent Living. They have separate little cottages there, and that's what I was looking for. They had only one small apartment that was too small I saw, so I didn't go in there. They also don't have much of a gym. It's just adequate and it was clean.
