Friendly Staff

Almost all of the staff is sweet! Everyone is so nice to mom and that's very important to me. They have a full schedule of activities all the time and the resident engagement director is great with the residents. Mom has advanced dementia but gets around fine. She tells the aides she doesn't need help with anything, so they don't help much even though she needs it! I think the food is fair. It seemed like they were keeping her room clean until the past month. Something has changed. Room size is fine.

Finding a A place with Peace

Initially I WOULD HAVE GIVEN Brookdale a 4/5 thru the last six months they have improved communication ns in the nursing and housekeeping. Overall Great place for your Loved one!

Our experience

They are very good there my dad made friends. The staff is very friendly and nice I have no complaints. They give you a menu for all 3 meals so you can choose. His room is very clean and so far he hasn't lost any clothes. He had. Been there since January.

Brookdale felt very homey. We would like to go back for a meal. We were disappointed when found out they had no rooms available at the current time.

Apt. size is just right for her, 320 sq ft, I think. Single bed, bedside table, 2 recliners, long dresser, small chest of drawers. Care is hard to assess. She tells me complaints, but is often confused, so I'm not sure what is accurate. She is being seen by Seniority (not sure if you are familiar) for BLE swelling, have not gotten that under control for couple of weeks. Going Above and Beyond

The Brookdale staff, especially [name removed], was supportive and helpful. Our Dad was expected back to Brookdale by lunch after a minor surgery. An unexpected medical event meant a trip to the hospital. [name removed] went above and beyond our expectations. She made sure that Dad's dog was cared for until Dad was able to come back to Brookdale.
