Highly recommend Brookdale Harrisburg!!!

Mother was reluctant to move into assisted living at Brookdale Harrisburg but after speaking with [name removed] she realized that she needed more care than we were able to supply in her home. It was a bit of an adjustment but Mother has settled in and is occupied most of the day. She recently became a big winner at Yatzee and was on cloud nine! The staff is attentive and helpful when issues regarding Mother's health arise. I have and will continue to recommend APFM and Brookdale to others.

The administrative staff are wonderful to work with, and the care staff are always smiling and helpful. Residents are happy and interact with visitors and each other, which was different from every other facility we visited! The building is clean, and the wall railings in Clare Bridge are so helpful, even to visitors! This place is beautiful, clean, and friendly. Five stars on everything! I will keep it in mind as my mother ages.

Overall recommend

Overall our experience has been great. As they learn my mother and she settles in we have some adjustments to make but nothing major. The staff is friendly, very helpful, went above and beyond to welcome her, and treat her with dignity and respect.

I felt it was a good deal and I was planning on sending my father however, he passed. There is much socialization it was comfortable. Updated environment much interaction with the outside world. And much compressive care.

As for Brookdale we are all pleased. The facility is clean, the people working there are cheerful and pleasant. Mother has settled in and is enjoying herself. We are very happy we chose Brookdale for her care.
