Brookdale New Port Richey

The tour went very well and [name removed] was excellent! Brookdale is somewhat dated, clean, staff is friendly, residents are friendly, many activities and outings. I could not ask for a better person to show me around, knowledgeable in all aspects of assisted living and memory care. Brookdale is well worth the visit!

Brookdale New Port Richey

I recently visited my mom. I found the staff helpful, cheerful and warm. From what I could see all the people seemed well taken care of. The issue with the food - breakfast is good, lunch is ok and dinner is not good. Either a repeat of meals from days gone by not, tasting good, watery in some cases.

Never recommend

I had my wife placed there last year. Took her out and brought her home. They honored none of the personal requests they promised. Never would I place her back . The management was a total joke .

Friendly but understaffed

The staff is pretty good however they are so short handed. Room is good size and kept clean. Food is average. Activities are ok but they could do so much more with help.

Feels like home

As soon as I met the admissions director, [name removed], she put me instantly at ease. The process on Brookdales end went very smoothly. The only snag was on the doctors end trying to get them to complete the paperwork.

Great fit for our needs!

Staff is mixed, but overall not awful. Some people have been extremely helpful to my father, others haven't been so helpful. The activities are very helpful for socializing. My dad hasn't felt isolated at all due to being able to participate in activities. Food has been just okay. My father says breakfast is great. Facility is very clean. Room is on the smaller side, but truly perfect for my father's needs.
