Overall, the experience was mostly positive. Staffing on weekends seemed limited, and communication could be improved, as return calls were inconsistent. At times, noise levels in the hallways were disruptive. However, the care staff were generally respectful, patient, and attentive. The meals were good and served on time.

I toured Brookdale Orange Park. It was OK, but I didn't feel as comfortable with that person as I did with the staff in the other facility. They were more like hospital rooms, a little smaller, nothing that made it feel homey, but she informed me that they concentrate more on taking care of the person than on the niceness or newness of the location. And I get it, and I understand. The traffic there was horrific. It's very busy. I wouldn't be comfortable with my mom being in that area because she is a…

I toured Brookdale Orange Park. It was a very nice facility, clean, and looked very safe. Everybody there was very, very friendly and helpful. I was very impressed with everything I saw. It's a small community, which is nice. The staff who gave the tour, we hit it off very, very well. They will get back to me as soon as they have any openings. I checked their dining area and met some of the residents. Everybody seemed very happy. It's an older building, but it has kept up very nicely.
