Brookdale Winston-Salem

A very nice facility and staff. Cost was the highest compared to other facilities I visited particularly for the nursing portion of the bill. The property is well maintained and updated. A very friendly staff. No question that excellent care will be delivered.

I love the fact that the environment is inviting and does not "look like" a community. I like the fact that the residents are encouraged to not sit in their rooms. I like the activity plan. [name removed], the Executive Director, listens to the concerns of the resident's family and addresses the concerns quickly. The staff meets regularly to address concerns that have been noted. Yes I would recommend

Great Experience

It was a great fit for us. There is a lot of staff turnover but the care we received was great. It's a small community so there is familiarity among residents and staff as well as the families of the residents. My mom was treated with kindness and respect by all of the staff. I would highly recommend Brookdale Peace Haven to anyone looking for memory care.

Brookdale Winston-Salem is the closest to my daughter, and I like that they give a discount to NASA employees (my wife was a NASA employee). The staff was very helpful in explaining what was available and how to go about it. The person we met was very helpful and very sociable. I had no concerns with the cleanliness.

Brookdale Winston-Salem has been a lifesaver for our family!

My mom has been at Brookdale Winston-Salem for several years. Her Alzheimer’s has progressed and is now severe. Throughout her illness, Brookdale has taken excellent care of her. The staff there truly cares about the residents, learning their personalities and caring for them. We are thankful that they get them up, dressed and out of their rooms for the day and keep them busy with activities.. We are so incredibly thankful for Brookdale.

Great experience/transition

Throughout the process of trying to find the right place for my father, the Staff at Brookdale was amazing! From explaining the processes, answering our concerns and questions to move-in day, the staff out us at ease and gave us peace of mind. It’s a hard decision to make, and after visiting so many facilities, I knew when I left after my first visit, that Brookdale WS was the place!
