CriticalThe Business Takes Priority Over the Residents Interests
New ownership took over about a year ago and has spent millions on improving the facility. They’ve done a wonderful job and the place looks great. Unfortunately, the people side of the equation has deteriorated significantly. Resident care is lacking, especially at night when you can’t get through to anyone either by call bell or phone. Management is invisible for the most part.

We have mostly been happy with the community. Outings are great and my father in law is definitely more active than he used to be. Staff has been very good and residents seem happy. Biggest suggestion would be open communication with the staff to ensure all needs are being met.

1. Staff: Since new company, there has been a lot of CNA turnover. 2. Quality of care: On a scale from 1 to 5, with five being best, I would say quality of care is probably a 3 1/2 to 4 on any given day. 3. Food/Dining experience: has improved greatly from Carriage House to Brookstone of Greensboro. There had been high turnover in this area as well, but things seem to be settling down and the quality of the food seems to be much better. 4. My friend will be moving into Brookstone Terrace of Greensboro. The community is excellent. It's a beautiful place. The rooms are all being remodeled because they used to belong to another company. The room that they showed us is all remodeled with new floors. The sink is beautiful. My friend's bedroom has brand new vinyl flooring and nice, big, spacious closet just for herself.
