PositiveI toured Cascade Heights. The staff was very friendly, and that was the high point there. Their low point would be parking. It was a little bit hard to navigate. I had to drop my dad off at the doorway, and then I had to park kind of far away. Cleanliness, to me, seemed fine. I didn't see anything that stood out. They have an on-site therapy room, a convenience store, and a little activity area where you can sign up for different things to go to and whatnot for the residents. Their rooms seemed sufficient. The…

PositiveActivities of one kind or another pretty much all day. I'm a pretty much a loner and avid reader so I spend most of my day with my books and streaming movies on NETFLIX which I pay for. There's enough staff to make it interesting and they're all friendly. The smiles and chatter between staff and clients seem genuine. Games and interesting classes and activities pretty much up until dinner. Food is good with several different choices for each meal except breakfast (there's only so much you can do with breakfast) whi…

PositiveI'm in Cascade Heights. The food is excellent. All the people that work here are topnotch. They keep it clean. They have a lot of activities. They have buses to take you to different places. It's got everything you need. I have the apartment with a den. Everything I have fits perfectly. They have different apartment sizes. Any problem you have, they take care of it immediately.

PositiveBased on my mom's comment and my observations, I would give a 5 for all of above, but for food. Food gets a 3 because of breakfast. The buffet for breakfast is not ideal as the food is cold by the time you get it to your table. Everything else has been excellent. No problems with communication with the family.

PositiveI'm at Cascade Heights. It seems to have a lot of people. It's pretty big. The price was important to me and the price seems within line if a little bit less than some of the other places. I have a two-bedroom-two-bath, a washer and dryer, and a carport. Upkeep and cleanliness are all excellent. I just got a new faucet in the kitchen, and it looks nice. The staff is very nice. The food is really good. They have a couple of chefs here. I just wish they had regular breakfast where we could pick what we want…

CriticalWhen my son and I walked out of Cascade Heights, he looked at me and said, "No way. This place just creeps me out." Everything about it is old. The facility is old. Even just walking around it, you get this smell of being old. The sales girl there, Mary Jo, was fine. I didn't interact with the other staff because we wanted to get out of there as soon as we got in there. The pricing was just the same comparing it to the other facilities I went to. So, I don't get it.
