After 6 months I would give it four stars. Our initial experience was definitely a five but I have found now that my mother has moved in and gotten settled there seems to be a lot less urgency among staff to return phone calls or discuss her issues. In terms of personnel, I would give huge kudos to [name removed] who handled all of our initial contacts, tours and questions and went the extra mile to meet with my mom and get her settled and involved with the community, and she continues in that same vein. CedarHurst has been great for my mother. The staff is attentive, friendly and very caring. The food is great and the staff is helpful with making sure she gets what she wants. The apartment is very roomy and comfortable for her needs. I am very glad we chose CedarHurst of Nicholasville.

Everything is great! The staff is wonderful! They all make all us feel at home. The activities are great and she has already done a number of them even though she is on the shy side! The latest was making tomato soup and grilled cheese! The food is delicious, we ate with her the first day and it was wonderful! Everything is clean. When you walk in the fireplace is on and it makes you feel like you are at home or on vacation! Apartment size is perfect. So easy to get through the doorways and into the shower.
