PositiveI am not sure if there have been some staff changes but it seems like the quality of the meals has changed. That is interesting because I have heard that from another acquaintance about their family member in a facility in another state with the same concerns. I think that the housekeeping has not been as thorough as previously. I personally have taken cleaning supplies in to improve bathroom conditions and the floors. The memory care unit has lots of activities to engage the residents and they seem very caring. I…

PositiveI would everything a 4 except friendliness I'd rate a 5. I don't really know much about the food but what I've seen it looks great. My sister in law has complained about it because she's on a moist & minced diet but is changing herself to regular diet. All in all we are very pleased with the facility. I would definitely recommend it to others. We didn't initially understand the role of the nurse on staff. We thought she could help out with some nursing care but she can only assess a situation. My sister in law had …

CriticalLack of staff. They don't last long. Now no weekly menu. Lunch and dinner meals switched frequently. Trash not picked up daily or every other day. I avoid one person at meals because she can't stop talking gibberish.

CriticalThe smaller size is great for my parents and gives the flexibility that is helping dad that might not get in a larger place. The staff, esp in memory care, has been great with that flexibility. However, there's been some recent turn over in staff, leadership, and vendors that has made the first few months a little rocky. Hopefully that will even out. Also smaller size means less resources and a bit less activities. However, like mentioned, my parents are simple country folk that would most likely be lost in a large…

PositiveI say that only because they haven't been shaving him or at least helping him shave. Otherwise I feel he has been well cared for. The staff are very attentive and try to make him feel special. I love that they have a PA that comes in for new resident evaluation and care. They even invited me to come in for the quarterly evaluation and pointed out the areas he needs a little more help or is the same or worse. I can't say enough about the friendly staff there.

CriticalNo wound care from the aides. Had to have home health visit but that only covered 3/wk. The other 4 days nothing was done. Staff shortages constantly, medications not given on a regular schedule (just whenever they get to you), their bus was broke down more than not, general cares were delayed often. Positive - there were a few people there that genuinely cared and liked their job.
