My parents are residents of Country Meadows of Mechanicsburg. The facility is too big, and communication was bad. The apartment is beautiful. I just needed to give my parents more care. The staff was all very nice, meaning the aides, but the ones in charge were not easy to talk to because they're always busy. They have bingo. My mom was in the chorus, and they loved to go to church. They had lots of fun things to do, which they enjoyed. The food, they got tired of it. The dining area is nice.

My family is very grateful for the Memory Care at Country Meadows, Mechanicsburg. The attentive care provided by the staff has been a consolation during a very difficult time. I have peace in knowing that when I cannot be there my parents are being lovingly cared for.

We toured Country Meadows of Mechanicsburg for my mother. They have continuing care there, and they have people that check on you daily. They check your room daily. If you don't answer, they come in and check you. They have doctors that come there to treat you. They have meals available if you need them. They assign someone like an ambassador, that is another client there, who helps you with questions and welcoming you to the area when you're new. We felt that they had a lot of involvement for the clients…

Our Mom had been in a facility that had originally told us they had memory care, but when her dementia became worse, they were not equipped to deal with her, and asked us to take her somewhere else! Then, a coworker, who also works at CM part time, told me about CM and how much SHE loves working there. So we called, and the rest is a very happy ending to our story. It starts with the friendly staff and a clean facility. Country Meadows serves tasty food and provides several choices, A variety of activities and exercise programs are available each day, including entertainment coming in from outside ,like Gospel music.
