Although my grandmother was hesitant to move into Country Meadows back in December, it has truly been such a blessing. The staff is wonderful—everyone is so kind, patient, and genuinely caring. There are always plenty of activities, and it’s been amazing to see how quickly my grandmother has settled in. In such a short time, she’s made many friends and is really flourishing. Country Meadows of York-South is definitely the best of all that I've looked at, as far as facilities, appearance, and the general feel of the place. It's very well put together and has nice facilities. Their program is pretty active. We know a lot of people who have been in and out of there, and they've all had pretty good reports for it. From the perspective of the caregiver, Country Meadows South was a God send. I moved my 93 year old mother to PA from CA. Needless to say the move was highly stressful. It took the moving company three weeks. I only new at the very end when and where the furniture was. Country Meadows kindly furnished the room until her furniture arrived.
