Our parents are now residents of Country Meadows and we couldn't be happier with the transition. Facility is homey, nicely decorated and will kept. All staff are very friendly and prompt when taking care of requests. Staff is willing to help in any way and keep their room tidy, laundry done and encourages them to participate in activities. They say the food is average. Over all they are better off and feel safe with people available to help them 24/7.

I looked at 6 other retirement homes in York County and Country Meadows stood out better than all of the others. The meals are excellent and healthy. They offer a variety of activities every day and they just won 2024 Choice awards for York and Hanover.

My parents are at Country Meadows of York West. We haven't been there for a long time, but so far everything has been great. The people have been super, super nice. Everything has been clean. The staff has been wonderful. The apartment is extremely spacious. So far, so good. The building itself is very nice and tasteful. It's not overwhelming. Country Meadows of York-West was really nice. I was very impressed. They took very good care of the area, and especially for that area. I just can't believe how different they are, they're so nice. They're very helpful and described everything, helped us through, and told us a lot of stuff. They have four dining areas, and they had a brunch for people to come to, and then we did a tour, which was very nice. The food was very good. We are very pleased with the care both available and given to our mother by the team at Country Meadows West. Their website states they "support residents in their current life stage and can continue to care for them if and when their needs should change". This is what ideal senior life living should offer and Country Meadows has shown it is more than a slogan. They truly have performed above our expectation.

The staff and extremely friendly and helpful to the residents, know them by name. My mother has been there for 5 weeks now and she and her "small dog" are adjusting well. The other residents also seem to enjoy having a pet in the facility. This policy has made the transition to assisted living a much easier one for my mom.
