CriticalWonderful meals, clean environment
Facility was kept very clean. Food was outstanding. If nurse that worked in 2025 has left, I would recommend. If she is still there, I would never recommend. She never even bothered to come to my mother's room when she was having a stroke nor internally bleeding and manager was aware of the situation.

I toured CountryHouse - Council Bluffs, and that was great. The lady who gave us the tour had answers to all our questions right away. She was super lovely. Their courtyard was lovely. The interaction between the lady giving us the tour and the residents roaming around was just lovely. You can tell that she loved the residents there. She had a good time. Not all the rooms had showers, and we didn't like that. Some rooms were just big open rooms with small closets. I mean, it would have held a lot of furniture …

I was disappointed in the lack of quality nursing care. Felt the nurse was derelict in performing her duties. The facility is a beautiful building and the food is GREAT!!! The chief takes great care in presentation and taste.

In the year and a half my mom has been there, there have been 2 directors and going on their 3rd nurse. I would like to see more activities after regular hours and on weekends. It is very expensive.
