Daggett-Crandall-Newcomb Home

This small facility houses under 30 people. It's a very clean older building with a long history of caring for elders in need. The tour guide emphasized the affordability of the facility and the plans people used when their money ran out. I felt my search was over and was excited to move my mom in. Days after the tour, however, I learned new residents must have proof they can pay full price for 18 months. That's not possible for us. It might be for you, and if so, this rest home is worth exploring.

My mother was a resident at the Daggett Crandall Newcomb Home from December of 2010 until she passed away in February of 2019. It would be difficult for me to accurately describe the high level of care, attention, patience, and most importantly gentle affection with which the staff treated her during that time period.
