The proximity to my son's home. The facility itself: The size of the bedroom and the fact that I got a balcony. The dining room facilities. The activities offered. Having transportation available for my needs so that I would not have to have a vehicle. The libraries, Beauty Shop, and weight room. Also that I can attend church in the building.

We looked at the Discovery Village at Dominion, and I liked the layout a lot. I liked the swimming pool. We liked the community, and they have a wonderful memory care unit. It was gorgeous. It had a nice little kitchen and eating area. I didn't understand, though, that the two bedrooms are complete bedrooms with complete bath. I would have loved to have had that complete bath as a closet or something. Evidently, that's the only complaint that anybody has about it. Some of the people are using the extra ba…

We're moving into Discovery Village at Dominion. Our tour here has been very nice. The other place can't take care of my husband any longer, so we're moving to another place that will give him the attention and care that he needs. It's a one-bedroom apartment and it's very nice. I should be very comfortable there. The staff has been super helpful. Whatever we need, if we want to go see the apartment again, they will show it to us.
