If this was rating the residents, I would give them a 5 star because they are absolutely amazing. I am rating this based on management and staff. With that being said, I would rate them with zero stars based on management and staff. When selecting a place for your parent to live you hope that you’ll find one where they’ll be noticed and cared for. Drumlin Reserve is a beautiful place but the staff are uninvolved and uninterested. They also seem to lack knowledge on how to care for senior needs. Our family felt this place was all about money and how to get it. The head RN makes you feel disregarded. The head of the facility is overwhelmed and tells you things that aren’t always the truth. Drumlin Reserve is a nice place. It's close to a walking trail, and I like that. I'm very impressed with that place. The person who took me around was very nice. Super nice. She's pretty sharp, too, and she knew everything. They have appliances in the rooms like a washer and dryer, kitchen range, and microwave. They have all those things right there. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My dad moved into Drumlin Reserve. It is a very nice facility with very friendly and helpful people, and very accommodating. I can't say enough about them. They're very good and very attentive. They've called us when my father was not feeling good to let us know. It is assisted living. They only have one room and they set up another room for my father as part of a respite type facility. It's an assisted living, but he's paying extra for the respite part. The place is very clean, neat, and t…

I visited this facility

It was very nice. We thought we would do well there. We ate lunch and they gave us a very nice tour. It was very clean, the rooms were pleasant, and the atmosphere was pleasant. They were doing activities when we were there. It looked like a very engaged group of people. They had an activities board where they post the things that they have going on for the week and the month. Mealtime was a big deal there.

Aster Retirement is a very nice community. We toured there while looking for a place for my loved one, and it seemed like a very nice facility with a lot of amenities. However, I think it was just a little too fancy for my loved one, and it was too far out from Madison to be practical for visiting.
