I continue to be extremely pleased with Vista West! It's not perfect (no place is), but the caregivers are kind and attentive and it feels like a big family since there are always quite a few people sitting in their "living room". There are lots of good activities, and Vista West sponsors kid friendly events ( like Easter egg hunts and Trick or Treating) that bring young children into Vista West to interact with their elderly relatives and other residents. Vista West is very clean and very well-managed. They had a lot of programs and activities. What resonated with me at the beginning was that they had a policy that everybody would wear name tags when they went down to eat. My mom's got some trouble remembering things so she could remember everybody's name because the names were on the tags when people were downstairs. Extremely Impressed

We have been so impressed with Vista West Memory Care! The facility is beautiful (and only 2 years old), the caregivers are very friendly and helpful, and the food is great! Whenever I visit, there are always 6 or more residents sitting in the common area (whereas we seldom saw residents outside of their rooms at other memory care facilities that we toured here in Madison). We went to Vista West. It was a good tour. Jackie, the community relations manager, was very nice and helpful. She asked a lot of questions about my father-in-law as a person to get to know him and his interest before we went and toured the facility, so that was nice. The condition of the place was very nice. It's pretty much a brand-new facility, so it's very spacious and clean, and there weren't any smells or anything. We were able to meet Dawn, the activity director, and she was willing to answer …

I visited this facility

I was really impressed with Vista West. We are going to go today to relook at things, but the lady never called us back to verify, and that was my disappointment. The first time I went there, I was very impressed. It was like a beautifully decorated and impeccable place. There's balconies and all those things that I was looking for. The place was incredible. They have all the stuff you need there. It had wallpaper and beautiful furniture and it was quite impressive.
