PositiveLove my apartment, but does not told about many issues
East Hill is a wonderful place to live. But I am 71 and really cannot relate to most people here since most people are 80+with walkers. The food is great & lots of wonderful activities and it’s a great location. They take great care with the landscaping and helping you with anything that you need help with The only other complaint I would have is that the heat and air-conditioning system is very antiquated, but you can make do.

I visited 6 facilities, when looking for a place for my dad (99), and this one felt the most welcoming, as home-like as is possible. It’s just the right size, in the quantity of residents. The staff are friendly, seem very caring and professional — I often see my dad smile at members of the staff. Another plus, is the general atmosphere of surrounding Heritage Vlg. There are many areas to take him on his wheelchair for distraction. It’s a beautiful place. He’s been here approximately 2 months and doing well.

My mother is not an easy person to please so even the smallest things are bothersome. A couple of examples of how they could improve: The food could be better They should not be charging residents for food. Breakfast is not nutritious and you can either have your dinner at 1 or 4:30 or 6 Most places provide 3 meals a day They do not have coffee or drinks available for the residents all day. The activities are not varied enough so most days there is nothing my lol is interested in doing. Overall it's not bad …
