I visited the assisted living facility of The Village at Brookfield Common, and the people who showed me around were very nice. I ate there, and it was good. I went for lunch, but I didn't like what they had for lunch, so they made me a grilled cheese sandwich. They had a 1-bedroom deluxe that had a balcony, which I loved. They only had a tiny kitchen, though, and they didn't have a stove. It's hard when you're used to cooking to go to a place where there's no stove and no refrigerator. Tha…

I visited The Village at Brookfield Commons' memory care. It's pretty much the same as independent living except that wing is locked down. You have to furnish the rooms, though. The staff member was a nice gentleman. He was very good. They invited us to a luau, and they sent food home with us. It was party food, and it was pretty good. The facility looked very nice. It was clean, and it didn't look like it had a big ground. It's kind of like in an executive park.
