I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My Mom was sent to Elizabeth Church Manor for a 5 week rehab visit. She was there for the initial 2 weeks with some rehab services, some help with personal care, including a "wash cloth" hair wash. She finally after 2 weeks had help with a shower. Then she was transferred to the nursing home section for the rest of her "rehab" stay. She was able to "pass" her rehab test so she no longer qualified for daily rehab services. She sat in her room without a phone, no visitors of course due t…

I visited Elizabeth Church Manor with my son and daughter-in-law and loved it. Both of the buildings were so clean, so neat, and so welcoming. I wish I could move in there tomorrow. There were several shared rooms, but at 82, I don’t want to share a room with anyone. They were all clean, spacious, and neat. I kept asking my son, “Have you filled the application yet? My visit involved volunteering to host a bingo game for the residents of Elizabeth Church Manor. The facility seemed clean, and the staff was generally friendly and attentive. However, the attitude of many of the guests was a bit alarming. Some seemed depressed, and others continually had negative comments. Many of these were not specific in nature, but they conveyed an atmosphere that was not positive.
