My uncle chooses not to participate in activities so I can't comment on that. All of the staff have been extremely nice and he likes them. The lead nurse, [name removed], has been exceptional. He is diabetic and had some issues with regulating his blood sugar after moving in. She worked closely with him to get the adjustments needed and he has been great since. His room is a studio but has 3/4 wall separating his bed from his recliner and TV. It's a perfect fit for his needs. It makes it feel like a 1 bedroom.

This is a bright open facility and most of the residents are together for much of the day , rather than in their own rooms. We chose this facility because of the reasons above, and the lack of "spend down" for the MA application. They have a doctor at the facility two times a month, a full time nurse and 24/7 nursing coverage.

My mother was there until she broke her hip. Then the vice president of operations, [name removed] wrongfully, terminated her contract, and refused to allow her to return. Thankfully, I had every piece of documentation of services they provide and hired an attorney. I won my case, and she was allowed to return. In the interim, she had been placed by the hospital in a HORRIBLE home nursing home facility, The building administrator and staff were appalled that she was kicked out. They wrongfully terminated the local …

My dad moved into the Encore at Hugo. It's a very nice place. They have catered in food and chefs all the time working there. They are very well staffed. My dad is very well taken care of. My dad has an apartment. They have a studio. They have outdoor areas and indoor areas. They have a nice big living room, kitchen area, and a party area where they have birthdays and such.
