CriticalLimited knowledge
If your loved one needs skilled care for PICC lines, wound dressings or any care that needs sterile procedures, this is NOT the place for them. The nursing staff’s knowledge of infection control is minimal. Everyone I encountered was kind. But the lack of knowledge is a serious problem. Maybe,if our culture valued our health care professionals as much as we do our actors and athletes , we would compensate them as they should be and we would have quality health care.

I can't even begin to tell you how horrible this place is, too many bad experiences, in the month my father was there, to write about. All the positive reviews can not possibly be true, and are written by family members or staff. I hated leaving my father in such a horrible place and would cry every time I left. My grandmother recently stayed at Regency for rehab. The staff was very attentive to her needs as well as compassionate. They treated her with dignity and respect through all of her challenges while she was healing. Although she was only there a short time, she formed a bond with the activity department and mostly the Director of Activities.
