PositiveThe staff is the best!Lisa goes beyond duties to help, she is always happy and very knowledgeable! Koran is very helpful and his word is good! If he says he'll do it. He does and the cooks Jacob and Waylon's do an excellent job and try to meet everyone's needs, but administration is not as abiding! I don't feel administration cares! I have been here 3 weeks, i have not seen one of them! I have not signed any papers(I am not sure how much they are charging me)! I asked for a keand it took 2 weeks…

PositiveI visited Featherstone Assisted Living about a month ago. It's older, but it's still decent and feels pretty homey. They keep it up pretty nice. The staff during the tour was real nice and helpful. They showed us around the rooms they had available. I live down the street from Featherstone. When I drove by there, there's a group that I went to high school with, and they had their old cars pulled up there in the facility. I noticed that some of the people were out there, and they had shade cover. They…

PositiveI went to look at Featherstone Assisted Living. I like the staff and the cleanliness of the facility. It was close to where my mother wanted to be, where friends and everybody could visit. They keep people active. They had group parties and different things going on. The food is good. I saw a two-bedroom and one-bedroom, and they were good.

PositiveMy mother used to be a resident of Featherstone Retirement. Were baffled by the layout. When getting in and out of the room the door only opens at an angle, and not all the way because there's a wall. As soon as you walk in you go to the left of the living area, then there's a narrow hallway leading to her bedroom, and in the hallway was the bathroom. It would be hard for people in a wheelchair to maneuver around the room, but she was real happy with them, and the people we met there were great. They hav…

PositiveMom lived at Featherstone Assisted Living for a month from December to January. The community was OK. The problem with it was that for Mom, the diet was wrong. They didn’t have much in the way of vegetables and the meals were heavy with a lot of fat. It caused a big increase in her blood pressure, and she gained a lot of weight. Her room was clean and well taken care of. She didn’t get as much attention there, but the staff was wonderful and as attentive as they could be. For the price, Featherstone Assisted Living…

CriticalI have friends that moved in at Featherstone Assisted Living. They love it, but I was not fond of it. They are starting to do a lot of renovation and clean up, but we did see the rooms and as far as quality, they were not that good. The carpeting was old and worn a little bit.
