Generations Senior Living of Strongsville advertised online that they also had skilled nursing, but when you get there and talk to them, they don't have skilled nursing anymore. They changed it to memory care. My husband has congestive heart failure, so at this point, we would only need assisted living, but we don't know at what point he might need skilled nursing. We chose Generations Senior Living of Strongsville. They have nursing staff there on the facility grounds 24/7, which was one of the main things that was nice to have somebody there just in case. They also give each resident those med alert necklaces or bracelets so that if they do need any assistance they can press it and they have nursing assistants that would come and help them.

Moved Mom in, in May of 2016. It was like a piece of heaven for both Mom and I. The apartments are so nice and the staff from aides, to admin to nursing are all wonderful. They treat each resident and the family members of residents all with a huge smile and hello and such respect. In Sept mom fell and broke a hip and as a result it created much more memory issues with Mom so I had to make the hard decision to move her into a new facility that was more suited to memory care needs of ALZ patience. Review of Crystal Waters Retirement Community - Strongsville, OH

Friendly staff, clean throughout, great amenities such as activities and hair salon. The exterior of facility is pleasing and the decor is excellent. There is a water fountain, a baby grand piano, and other common areas.

Don't know how staying here would be like but based on tour, we decided not to chance it for parents. The tour was one big sales pitch. Sounded like same exact thing said to everyone. Residents were sitting around, not talking to each other, even in dinning room, very quite. The one thing that really turned us off was not safety rails. Seems like it is better suited for younger healthier crowd.
