GreenTree at Mt. Vernon

I DID A WALK THRU OF THE MEMORY CARE SIDE OF GREENTREE LOOKING FOR A NICE PLACE FOR MY WIFE. ''I FOUND IT'' THE OVERALL APPEARANCE WAS CLEAN, BRIGHT, AND WELL KEPT. THERE WERE PLENTY OF STAFF WORKING AND SEVERAL TOOK A SECOND TO GREET ME WITH A SMILE AND A HELLO. THE DINING AREA WAS NEAT AND CLEAN AS WAS THE SOCIAL/TV AREA AND HALLWAYS. MY GUIDE FOR THE TOUR WAS GREAT. ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS WITH SINCERE CONCERN ABOUT MY SITUATION AND NEEDS.

I felt comfortable there. The caregivers were interacting with the residents and friendly. The only thing was the nurse was not even cordial with a smile or hello.

I honestly think each of those categories are five. Everyone seems very friendly. They plan many different types of activities for the residents. I like the location because it backs up to the woods.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mom is a resident of GreenTree at Mt. Vernon. All the workers and everything are very good. They do stuff with them. They keep them busy. They work with them, and my mom likes it there. What most people don't like is the price. It's very expensive. They only take cash there. They don't want your house. They don't want your land or anything like that, which many people don't want to give up because they have children to pass it to for any reason. It doesn't matter what the reason is.…

I visited this facility

I toured GreenTree at Mt. Vernon, and it was good. My mother will be moving to their assisted living facility. The rooms were nice. We looked at a couple of different ones, and they were spacious and roomy, and just made you feel at home. The lighting and space were good, and the rooms were clean. The person who gave the tour did a great job. They have a hair salon there. They have a bus service that would take the residents to Walmart, or if they wanted to go somewhere. They also have a little atrium, or someplace…

We viewed the memory care facility at GreenTree at Mt. Vernon. It was very nice. The people who were there appeared to be attentive to the residents. The visit was just good all the way around. They walked us through and showed us a possible room. It was a good facility and very well kept.
