Highly recommend Guardian Home ALF. Our dad had dementia and could no longer stay at home. We looked at big facilities first, but decided on Guardian Home ALF, and so grateful we did. My dad lived at Guardian Home for the last 10 months and it was such a blessing for our family. Not fancy, but no ' institutional' feel like the big care facilities we looked at. This is more like living at home. (When we toured one of the big fancy places, we left right after the people showing us around, pushed a resident back in their room and shut the door, as the resident was trying to tell them they needed someone and had been trying to get some help). My dad was in the care of the wonderful team at Guardian Home for 10 months before recently passing on. We are so grateful to have found Guardian Home -- the care he received there was much less 'institutional' than some of the large care facilities and more like being at home. We always observed the care team treating residents with such care and compassion. Highly recommend this home -- they have been such a blessing to our family.

My loved one chose Guardian Home after visiting group homes, and other small assisted living facilities. Guardian Home literally was an answer to prayer. Our loved one gets such personal care. I'd never compromise on care. Some of you might decide you'd rather have fancy than the best care possible... Because the care here is like no other place, and I have much experience.

If you are looking for attentive, caring, professionals, in a residence for yourself, or a loved one. This is it. The owners Lynn and Alan are both RNs and are usually there. Luisa is very knowledgeable, and sweet. My loved one is difficult, but they understand the causes, and are more than helpful. Residents tell how much they like the staff. It is a 15 resident facility, so your loved one does not get lost, or missed, as they might in a really large facility. Guardian Home, literally was an answer to prayer
