Hampton Manor holds a very special place in our hearts. My mom spent many years there, first at Deerwood Assisted Living and later at the 24th Road memory care community. When the time came that our family could no longer provide all the care she needed, we were grateful to have Hampton Manor become her home. I toured Hampton Manor at Deerwood. We like the cleanliness and the activity level that they would be getting there. They separated the mental health from everybody else, which was the only thing we really didn't like. I think my mother was somewhere in between, so we were thinking that it would be better to allow her to migrate between the two, but they kind of keep them separated. The staff was very helpful. Hampton Manor at Deerwood is a very nice home. I like it here. I moved here because my wife is deceased, so I couldn't take care of the house and myself, but I have been here for 18 months now. The food is incredible. They have meal after meal after meal, and they're good. It's like you have a catered meal, and it's so good. The staff is great, especially the medical staff. If we can get my mother to go, Hampton Manor at Deerwood is the place where we have her go. It seemed to be a much more cheerful atmosphere, and the people were happy there. The staff member who gave the tour did very well. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. They had welcoming residents that would help you acclimate to the place. They have people that make sure where you're going and get you there on time and all that stuff. They also have a fitness center and beauty salon.

My father is in Hampton Manor at Deerwood. They're very one-on-one, very caring and there's no smell or anything like that. The staff is very nice, very understanding and very helpful. He eats everything on his plate, and he has no complaints. It's very clean, it has no odors, and it doesn't smell like urine or anything like that.
