The facility itself is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, and there have been individual staff members who have been kind and caring toward my mother. Unfortunately, the overall experience has not matched the level of care or programming that was presented to us before move-in, especially considering the cost of nearly $[removed]per month. 2 stars overall. Med tech and aides are good. There is no exec director right now. Director of health is not responsive to phone calls or emails. My father spent almost 2 weeks in hospital/rehab and techs/aides were not notified he was coming back by dir of health. His shower was covered in black mold. Laundry is done sporadically. Food quality has deteriorated over the past year.

Activities are posted daily... The staff is excellent... The facility is well kept and in good repair... There is ample parking... It is just up the street from the UPMC Medical Complex... This is good so when emergency events occur, response time is minimal...

Make sure you stay on top of the aids, cleaning when supposed to, laundry when supposed to and management. They like to make excuses for themselves. My aunt didn't get her medicine for the first 6 days. Kept leaving dirty poop and urine and trash can in her room and smelled bad. Multiple days dried up poop left on the seat.
