My mother lived in this facility for about 6 months. It started out helpful because I was so overwhelmed and needed help but then the facility began to show its true colors very quickly. The staff including the nurses don’t seem to be well educated at all on conditions that are present here- Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s. The office staff doesn’t at all seem involved with the residents and are rarely available to talk with about anything (we were in the newly acquired memory side). None of the staff seem to c…

Quality of care -It depends on the staff. The day shift is super, however the afternoon and night shifts are inconsistent. It depends who is working. Admin- If the resident is ambulatory and can self-feed, they will be fine. The care for residents in wheelchairs is affected by who is working. The administrative staff listens to family concerns, but there is a breakdown with the afternoon and night shift implementing changes. I went to Harper's Station. It's a number one pick, but it's really expensive. It is absolutely gorgeous, outside and inside. They have apartments with and without balconies. The apartments are a nice size. The girl who walked us around was lovely. I didn't eat there, but they have a really interesting menu. They all say they have chef-prepared meals, but some of them aren't; however, this one, the meals were amazing on the menu. I'm a vegetarian, so I have to be sure I'm going to…

Attendants were very watchful of residents and housekeepers did a good job keeping the place from smelling. I was most impressed that they had a doctor on site every Friday plus on call if needed. My husband especially liked the desserts but didn't liked the meat in gravy that was the main meal every day.
