Positive[name removed], the Administrator is excellent. She always responds if we have a question or issue. The caregivers are friendly and interact with the residents. They always welcome our visits, even the kids, and our family dog Webster. They had a fabulous Christmas party last year. Residents were dancing and we were all singing with a DJ. It was one of the best memories we have with Mom since entering Assisted Living. Mom also gets regular haircuts, nails polished and a medical checkup monthly. They even have a pod…

PositiveWe had a good tour at HeartHomes at Piney Orchard. It was just too expensive for our family.

PositiveMy mother lives in this community and although it was the hardest decision that I had to make it was also the best. My mother receives the care and time that was almost impossible for me to give being as though I work fulltime. The staff are so helpful and just all around great, we truly feel as though they have become apart of our family. This is a small community which is wonderful because it allows my mother to get the attention that she needs.

PositiveThere have been a few problems that were immediately addressed, some on my sister's part, some on the staff. The staff all love my sister, which isn't always easy. They are very caring even when she gives them her annoyance. They keep me in touch or call with any questions. I go there at least once a week unannounced to check on my sister. Its in a beautiful setting with a lake behind to take walks around. There are numerous places to eat which my sister loves to get out and go when she is feeling up to it. It is v…

CriticalMy parents lived at Heart Homes. It was nice and clean, but they provided horrible service, and the staff was very untrained. My father is a diabetic, but they never put him on a diabetic diet, and he had to go to the hospital three or four times for high sugar. They were very unprofessional. There was no menu for anyone, the food was store bought and microwaved, and there was nutritional plan. They made beaded necklaces, which my mother enjoyed very much, and they had a Christmas party that the families were invit…

PositiveThis place has been PERFECT for my 83-yr-old mother, who has moderate dementia and mostly uses a wheelchair. The building is small and simple, with few residents, which is ideal for someone who has memory challenges. The staff is AMAZING, they truly care for each resident, and have shown patience and kindness daily. I have dropped in there several times unannounced and stayed for several hours, and witness how they cook, clean, and care for residents daily with heart, despite challenges with residents' capabilities…
