CriticalMy father was a resident at this facility near the end of his life. During his stay, he developed thrush, a stage 3 pressure ulcer, and sustained a significant skin tear after being wheeled into a dresser. I was also disappointed by the communication. I left a message twice regarding my father’s wish to enroll in hospice and did not receive a return call for several days. A hospice representative we had selected attempted to meet with my father and was reportedly denied access because he was receiving rehabilitatio…

PositiveGreat facility located in Katy Texas. Can’t think of a better place for long term nursing care. Staff are friendly, professional, and caring. Facility is clean, residents are happy and food is great.
★★★★★
PositiveWe had a pleasant experience at Heritage park of Katy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Therapists worked diligently to provide treatment for our loved one and made sure we were informed of the progress throughout the recovery process. We were very pleased with the facility from the food to the staff. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a short term or long term stay for a loved one.

CriticalMy mother is in Heritage in Katy with Medicare since two months and she goes there because my sister can no longer care for her in her home. My mother has problems with arterial presure and she is diabetic but the meals they serve are very salty or contain too much sugar. That is completly unappropiate in a nursuring home dedicaded to old persons like my mother with 97 years old. Recently they performed a medical exploration but she was not informed of what type when she asked the nurses.
★★★★★
CriticalMy mother lives in Heritage Park of Katy for about three months and recently she was programed a TAC or something similar but nobody told her nothing. After a few days she still doesn't know nothing about the it or the results because she hasnot spoken to the doctor. She also tells me that the meals are very salty or contain too much sugar. She has complained many times but with no answer from the staff.

PositiveWe can all find fault with anything, as a relative of a pt I am finding great improvements in the nursing staff ie CNA, Med asst tech. The are will to learn and care for patients. The dietary dept need some improvements. Some parents have issues with food and this need to be addressed. Housekeeping staff are very good the place is clean and no faul odor noted. Overall great improvements have been made since December 2021
