Mom has never been happier!

This place is absolutely gorgeous. The layout is perfect. My mother's apartment is absolutely gorgeous. It's it's big and roomy and quiet. The place is immaculately clean The staff here is amazing. The people who run the offices are some of the most friendly people I've met in a long time. The office manager, the manager who runs the place, and the gentleman who shows the apartments and such large beyond friendly beyond nice beyond helpful. Every time they see my mother, they ask me if everything's OK how's it go…

Overall, the facility appears to be nice and quiet. However, talking to several residents there were some very important missing basic services that are supposed to be included per the contract. There is an in inconsistency of the promised housekeeping services. Because of several positions haven’t been filled there appears to be negligible activities. Specifically, they have been without an activity director for 3 months and a hospitality manager for 8 months at the time of this review.

Would definitely recommend

Mom has been in her apartment a little over a month and loves it. She says that the food is great and is always a balanced meal. Three great meals each day. If there is something else you would want to eat, they will make it for you. Very clean atmosphere and very friendly staff is available should you need anything. Lots of activities and amenities if you're interested. An all around great place. Highly recommend!

Better than home--no cooking or cleaning required

The one common issue with Copley Place and so many other similar facilities is the high turnover. I'm sure the issue is related to compensation. Since my in-laws moved in this past February, there have been 2 or 3 maintenance people who have left. There have been a couple new cooks, and the transportation driver took 2 or 3 months to hire. The activities were also suspended for a while because that position was vacated. And, the housekeeper position for the 3rd floor has been unfilled for a couple months. That's my…

A nice tour. All my questions were answered. But an expensive move. Not sure if my portfolio can afford this Was told the monthly fee goes up every January 5%-10%

Overall would recommend

Never had a problem that wasn't quickly addressed. BUT there should be a second elevator. When it had to be serviced it caused problems for both the residents and staff.
