Her room was small for her cost. Mother was not fond of the meals. Cleaning wasn't done as said it would. Only 1 elevator felt kind of shady. They didn't have an activity person until she was leaving. And WORST. Folks move in sell their properties. Then EVERY YEAR Cost goes up $[removed]or MORE... THE MAIN reason she got out after the MANDATORY 3 MOS.. SHE was BLESSED to be able to keep her trailer MAKING sure it was a good fit. Also from an outsider.. We chose Holiday Essex House for my father because the pricing is right. They're on the lower end of the spectrum. It is kind of a nice, wide, open place. There were people all around. The facilities were really nice and well cared for. The staff was very helpful and very knowledgeable. We're actually going back today to sample the food. We saw people sitting outside, walking around, and out in the hallways.
