Independence Court review

It would have probably been better if we didn't move her there when the entire staff was in the middle of changing over. It was very disorganized. Many days I went in to see my mom, and her pure wick was never cleaned. We had to do that. During the day, they didn't even have the pure wick hooked up. Most of the staff was friendly. Our experience

Keep in mind that my dad went there to die and did not use a lot of the offerings. There was little interaction due to my dads wishes. Based off of our short experience, I would recommend them to others looking.

Our Experience

The management staff are very nice. Especially, [name removed]. There is high turnover in the nursing staff, which creates a lot of confusion regarding meds and specific care needs. The pharmacy is awful and consistently over charges. The evening staff are poor.

Definitely recommended

My loved one was previously a resident at Independence Court of Monroeville. Overall, her experience at this facility was great! All of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful at all times. The cleanliness and quality of care were great. My loved one loved it there! I would definitely recommend Independence Court of Monroeville to family and friends.

Would Recommend

I really liked having my mother-in-law at Independence Court. The staff always communicated with me. When she got real bad and hospice was called in, someone called me daily.
