My mom has been a resident of Independence Village of Ames for over 13 years. The Assisted Living rooms are spacious with giant windows for lots of light. The staff has been awesome with extra kudos going to Sydney (Exec Dir), Jen, Lisa and Suzanne in the office; their continuous support and love toward our family has been so appreciated. They continue to go above and beyond to assist our family and make sure Mom is comfortable and happy. Nina and Taylor as Wellness Directors have helped us navigate and answer our …

Very expensive when we didn't require much care. My mom would not leave her apartment so didn't receive a lot of care. Just meds and meals. My dad cleaned and did her laundry at their home. The apartment was very large. I could live there??. The staff was very kind and caring! Very well trained to care for my mom who had not so nice behaviors.
