Disappointed

Unwilling to do upkeep that should be done. They blame everything on Corporate. The residents are very nice, as is the staff. Not so thrilled with management.

Excellent senior living!

I love it here. I want everybody to know how great it is. Staff/care: Excellent! The amount of activities every day is incredible, not sure how they do it. The food is wonderful. They have different selections every day. The cleaning staff is outstanding, they do a great job. Room sizes are very generous.

Independence Village of Plymouth

The process of renting, moving in and meeting the staff from different departments went well. Cleaners and laundry staff do a good job. Food is ok, sometimes comes cold. Activities mostly around music and games. My mom has a harder time joining in on activities since they are more focused on the independent residents. The more experienced care team members are awesome!

My first impression when I walked into this community was the love of God throughout all the people we met. The longer my daughter and I have been here the more love we have received. There are activities for every single person no matter what your likes or dislikes are, plus the music is always from a different talent which gives us an all round experience. This community feels like a big hug!

My husband and I live in Independence Village of Plymouth's independent living community. They let you do things that you want to do, and you make suggestions about doing them. For instance, I wanted to do a chair exercise class with pom-poms, and they let me do that. We exercise here about six days a week, but I like to do it a couple of days. I would rather do my type of exercise with music. Another thing I like is that we have a section called brain games, and I really like that because it's games that…

The accommodations here at Independence Village of Plymouth are wonderful. Plenty of storage space and lighting among many other things. The food is wonderful, fresh fruits, and vegetables along with wonderful entrées. Elegant dining room ads to the ambience. The staff here from the front office, the maintenance department, the kitchen staff, and everyone else is top-notch. They go above and beyond.
