After searching several facilities for a Memory Care facility for my family member, I knew that Independence West in Zionsville was different from the other places I had visited. Right away, I noticed the freshness of the building. The open common areas, cleanliness and beautiful sunshine impressed me. The rooms are spacious with plenty of storage areas. The food has been delicious with a wide variety of choices. The facility is clean, bright with wide hallways. Best of all though is the friendliness all around. The staff speaks to guest as well as residents. The residents are engaging when you pass them in the halls or meet them on the elevators. The activities seem to offer a variety of choices to entertain the residents. Over all it has been a great experience for the move of our loved one.

My mother was in assisted living at Independence Village West of Zionsville for 2 1/2 years. She received wonderful care from not only the nursing staff, but the people in the dining hall and the administrative staff. Although no place is perfect, I feel like she couldn’t have been in a better place. She was loved and treated with dignity and respect.
