My mom’s home for a year and a half

This was a great place for my mom to call home for a year and a half. She was safe and comfortable and made many friends. My mom had All Life Solution services provided and the nurses who managed the program did a wonderful job. Thank you!! There were many caretakers and staff who took time to make my mom feel special and cared for. Another thank you!! My mom has since moved in with my sister, but we will forever be grateful for the time she had at Independence Village.

Rooms are really nice and spacious Staff is very caring and very attentive to tje residents they always talk.with them and call them by there name My family member recently fell and their response time was in 2 minutes to assist them and then quickly reached out.to me

The one bedroom apartments are nice but only have a very small refrigerator. The bathroom is small as well. The staff is attentive and helpful My loved one has been there several years and was one of the lucky ones to have the freeze on the monthly rent. We don’t have to worry about any increases while he is there. Security is also very good.

I visited this facility

I toured Independence Village of Rockford. It was clean. The staff was extremely friendly. The rooms are nice-sized. They've got the elevators. They've got most of the amenities. They have some outside places where they can go and sit and enjoy, like a garden, and they have all the activities. The view of Independence Village is not the best because it's in a busy part of town. It's a nice part of town, but it's busy. They're not country views. They're city views and almost suburb…
