PositiveShe wasn't there for very long. I know she would have enjoyed it lots had she been there longer. We were very happy with the choice to have her there. Mom didn't participate in the extra activities. She liked being social but not always. The activities were wonderful

PositiveMy mother-in-law will be moving into Island City. We were impressed with it. The size of the room was very good, the facility was clean, and the people were nice. We were pretty happy with it. When we were there, there was an exercise class going on. The building was set up where the residents can walk. PositiveMy father is at Island City. He chose it because it is close to his home. He had a tour and met people there. The only thing is he has trouble with the menu, but I know they have a la carte, so I don't know what the problem is. He is just particular with his food is all. It's not dietary; it's just his preferences. The staff has been great. It's a beautiful facility. It seems to be clean and well-kept, and the room seems to be generous in size, and all of them have their en suite bathroom.
