We visited the independent living community of NorthPointe Woods, and it's an updated facility. Location was the big factor in why we were choosing this for my mother. The staff was very friendly, and the facility was very clean. We were able to attend dinner and had a delicious meal. All the kitchen staff members were also pleasant. The size of the apartment played a factor, too, which is a two-bedroom, one-and-a-half bath, which is what we were looking for. It will be repainted and will have new carpeting up…

PositiveStaff are friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and very tasteful. You are given more than one choice at meals for picky eaters and a drink station for whenever you're thirsty. They have activities for those who are adventurous. We were impressed.

I visited the assisted living facility of NorthPointe Woods, and it was really good. They have amenities like a beauty salon and a credit union, or whatever banking facility that is. I think they also have a transportation service. They have lots of activities there, too. The area outside has gardens growing vegetables and things that the chef uses. They were accommodating to people. The dining area was open. It had open windows looking over the courtyard, so the lighting was good.
