Ivy Park At Escondido

A perfect-sized facility with a wonderfully caring staff

It's been a long few months. Dad entered Ivy in March on hospice and passed in May. Mom also moved in to spend the last few months with him. She has dementia and was already in a different assisted living facility. The Ivy has done a good job helping us manage all the ups and downs. Beautiful location, great staff!

[name removed] was awesome. They are in transition of ownership; two key people left during our onboarding process. It was unsettling, but understandable. We are pleased with the attention the new owners are giving the place and very happy with the care giving staff.

I visited Ivy Park yesterday and was really rather impressed. The workers, the receptionist, and the director who met us were all very welcoming both to me and my mother-in-law. The interview we started with helped us assess our needs and learn about their services. We had a comfortable back and forth. The tour itself was at a relaxed pace with plenty of time for questions. Ivy Park is one of the most impeccably organized facilities I have toured. The staff was hospitable and their representative took time out of her busy schedule to give us a thorough tour of the building with a full explanation of the many amenities available. Very impressive.

Ivy Park

Since we have Mike there only for respite care, I don't know about the activities but everyone that I've read the days look very exciting and interesting. Everything else I would put as a five except for the food and you're never gonna please everybody. But Mike has like some of the food so that's a big relief.

It was very clean, the people were wonderful. The patient will only be there two months for a respite care. They were very, very helpful in getting us all set up and doing everything they could to make his stay very comfortable.
